| May 5, 2026 – Patch Notes | 2026-05-05 | Here is a list of changes and fixes from the May 5, 2026 update. Changes – Summon Friend cooldown has been reduced. 1) Ascend-A-Friend Friend Summon has been reduced from 30 minutes -> 20 minutes. 2) Black Loyalty tier Friend Summon has been reduced from 15 minutes -> 10 minutes. Miscellaneous – Removed several duplicate background images. – Resolved an issue that could cause RIFT to crash under certain circumstances. We thank you for your continued support! Your RIFT Team. |
| April 28, 2026 – Patch Notes | 2026-04-28 | Here is a list of changes and fixes from the April 28, 2026 update. Bug Fixes – Corrected the tooltip for the ability Assassinate. (It will now reflect that it requires Stealth to be used. This ability remains usable outside of Stealth if Legendary Thread of Death is active.) – Resolved an issue where Shield of the Hero was incorrectly boosting healing from the caster rather than other players. Mount Fixes – Resolved an issue with the Greathound Frostbitten’s textures. New Items – The “Demon Kitsune” was added. – The “Soulborne Kitsune” was added. We thank you for your continued support! Seasonal and events – Adjusted certain CTA events with overlapping dates. – Scheduled certain missing events. Localization Fix – Cleric: Oracle Soul – Removed the section of the ability Icy Cascade where healing would be increased by 100% for each Emblem consumed. (The section of the tooltip that describes healing being increased from Emblems has been long deprecated but never removed from the ability description.
