| Hotfix 1.7.3.1 | 2026-02-18 | Regarding the friend system: With our 1.7.3 update we have updated our friend and presence system quite substantially based on changes from Epic’s side. The downside of the updated system is that to progress a friend request, both players must be online at the same time at some point. You can send a friend request to another player while they are offline, but they will only receive it once both of you are online at the same time. This also applies to responding to a friend request. Following the release of 200+ new creative mode structures and material overrides, participants now had more creative options than ever while building their contest entries. 🏰 "Castle Catastrophe" was the contest theme - participants were tasked with creating a castle-themed map that has been struck by a disaster. Map creators had the freedom to interpret this theme however they like, while remaining true to it's core intent. As a result, we had received arguably our most unique, diverse, and incredible selection of entries we've ever had the privilege of judging! |
