| Sounds of the Galactic League – Kestar Bool | 2026-09-25 | Kestar Bool is Shade's main rival both on and off the track. This callous Caskadag is the reigning champion of the Galactic League, but even that lofty title isn't enough to satisfy this spoilt sportsman. He believes he should be in control of the League itself and will stop at nothing in his ruthless quest for power. As the antagonist in Star Wars: Galactic Racer™, his voice needed to immediately communicate the smug sense of entitlement and superiority that would ensure players would want to take him down at all costs! "How do you make a villain that everyone immediately sets their sights on defeating?" says Fuse Games' Music & Narrative Di |
| Sounds of the Galactic League – Darius Pax | 2026-09-24 | Darius Pax is defined by his unwavering passion for racing, so he needed a voice that would bring that passion to life. This brash Besalisk businessman founded the Galactic League because, in his own words, he "wants racing back, the way it was!" "We knew from the start we'd need Darius Pax to be a big personality: a big voice for a big Besalisk!" says Fuse Games' Music & Narrative Director Nathaniel Daw. "We worked with the incredibly talented Andrew James Spooner to develop his voice. Pax is a perennial showman, always drumming up support for this League of his, a League that's the culmination of years of dreaming and hustling. Andrew's per |
| Sounds of the Galactic League – Hibi | 2026-09-23 | Every great hero needs a loyal friend cheering in their corner! Hibi is Shade's expert mechanic and ardent supporter. This energetic Ardennian spends her time tinkering with vehicles, leveraging her expert knowledge to help Shade get ahead on the track, and occasionally offering some words of warning for her more experimental upgrades. Her voice needed to be loud, lively, and lighthearted to match her personality. "Hibi was initially a real challenge to find a voice for," says Fuse Games' Music & Narrative Director Nathaniel Daw, "as Shade's main companion and ally they needed to be a friendly, welcoming personality, but still capturing the e |

What makes the skim speeder so special? It's the newest vehicle to be added to the Star Wars™ galaxy! The skim speeder was created by Fuse Games in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and is making its debut in Star Wars: Galactic Racer™. While skim speeders may not be as agile as speeder bikes or as resilient as landspeeders, they represent balance between the two: an elegant vehicle for pilots to master. They can build up momentum to become the fastest speeder on the track and can tackle sharp corners with their unique Knife Edge maneuver |
| Feel the Speed: Game Feel in STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™ | 2026-09-01 | “Game feel” is one of the most important yet hardest-to-define aspects of video game development, especially in racing games. We spoke with Fuse’s Game Director Bill Lane and Design Director Mark Bridges about their approach to physics, responsiveness, impact, and what makes every track exciting to play. Meet the developers: Before Fuse, our Game Director Bill Lane studied Engineering at University. After realizing civil engineering wasn’t the passion he wanted to pursue, he landed a role at EA as a QA Tester and worked his way into Criterion, a studio he had been a fan of for many years. From there, he used his engineering knowledge to get a |

Here's what Matt Webster, CEO and co-founder of Fuse Games, had to say about this achievement: "Going Gold is a traditional term in gaming that denotes when a game is finished and ready for release to manufacture. It refers to the days where a Gold disc was created as a master to then press physical copies. For a team, it's a significant milestone. It represents all the effort, talent, sacrifice, and learning that's poured in to creating a video game. The finalling process in development is a real challenge. We |

| Start Your Engines: An Interview with Co-Founder and CEO Matt Webster | 2026-07-03 | My start in games came by accident. Growing up, games were just something I loved, not something I thought I could be a part of. I started playing at a young age when an older brother got himself a Commodore Vic-20 – I must have been nine or ten years old. From that, I moved on to the Commodore 64, Sony MSX, and the Atari ST before my thoughts of leaving school and working in games became a reality. I had finished my A-Levels (High School Diploma) when my brothers friend said to him: "Hey, your brother plays games, right? Some American game company is coming to town and are hiring." That company was Electronic Arts and a week later I was hire |
