| Rebranding to Travellin Cats in Jingle Jam | 2026-02-25 | TLDR: Cats Hidden in Jingle Jam is now called Travellin Cats in Jingle Jam, due to trademark complications.Hi everyone, This is not a post I thought I'd ever have to make, but let me start from the beginning. In September of 2025, Nukearts registered the trademark "Hidden Cats" in the USA, with a claimed first-use date of 2022. These past few days, they filed a trademark infringement complaint with Valve, listing many games that include the words "Hidden" and "Cats" in their titles, including all of my games. Valve gave me until 2nd March 2026 to change the titles of all my games; otherwise they would be removed from the store. I was also inf |
| Happy Jingle Jam 2025 | 2025-12-01 | Bad news first: no new content for Cats Hidden in Jingle Jam this year. I've reached out to Yogscast earlier in the year and they were interested in bringing another level but I was then too busy myself to keep reminding them about it. You can still donate for charity though for the next two weeks: https://www.jinglejam.co.uk/ Now the good news: there is fresh Christmas content! Cats Hidden in Christmas got a More Merry Levels DLC with four brand-new levels and 400 cats to find! :) https://store.steampowered.com/app/2933990/Cats_Hidden_in_Christmas/ Peace & Love Patrick |
| 2024 Review and Outlook 2025 | 2024-12-10 | This has been quite a year! Thank you everyone for playing my games! ❤️ I've released 25 levels with 2,500 hidden cats. Hundreds of thousands of you have played my games this year, a number which is simply unfathomable to me. I live a tranquil life in the countryside with limited social interactions outside of my family and I'm rarely active on social media. It's such a stark contrast. ^^ Additionally, there has been a new free level for Cats Hidden in Jingle Jam, a free game made together with Devcats, a complete remake of Cats Hidden in Georgia and countless other minor QoL updates across all games. | New Free Level Now Available! | 2024-12-01 | To celebrate the start of Jingle Jam 2024 I've got a major update for you. Nina was kind enough to draw us another free level. And she has outdone herself. This year, the cats got lost on a ski trip in a winter wonderland, and I need your help to find them all. The whole game has also been transferred to a new framework, adding many features and QoL improvements. Update Overview New level with 100 hidden cats Multi-step zoom Adjustable background and cat color Increased visual fidelity for resolutions of 1080p and lower This has been a huge undertaking, so bugs might happen. If you find any, please report them here. While you're already here, |
| New Free Level Coming This Sunday | 2024-11-27 | Jingle Jam 2024 is about to start this Sunday, and Nina was kind enough to draw a brand-new level for this year's edition. This time, the crew is on a ski trip in a winter wonderland. The cats have been practising their hiding skills all year, so finding them all will be much more difficult. Please mark your calendars for Sunday 1st December, when the new free level will drop. And while you're already here, please vote to nominate the game for a Steam Award. It would be insane if we could get nominated and, through that, spread even more awareness for the Jingle Jam charity event. Peace & Love Patrick If you're thirsting for even more free Ch |
