Bugfix update2026-03-22Cleaning up a few bugs! Elodie no longer disappears when you return after clicking the sidebar "menu" button from the classes or stats screen. The sidebar "menu" button from the stats screen no longer leaves the stats background showing. An unused file was removed. Bugfix update2026-03-17This release focuses on translation and text-to-speech bugfixes.Changes since 1.5.13:- A little code cleanup- Tutorial text works a bit better in self-voicing mode.- Self-voicing during studying now truncates trailing zeros when reading decimal numbers.- Bubbles ("+1 Pressured", "Test: Horses → Failed") will now be read off in the correct order and only get read once.- Self-voicing will no longer get confused by lines starting with a - ("-1 Afraid") on Linux.- A bug, introduced in the engine upgrade, where translations of lines containing double spaces wouldn't usually work right has been fixed.- Some text that wouldn't translate is now trans
Accessibility update2026-03-09Multiple adjustments to automatic self-voicing (triggered by pressing 'V' during the game). This is an accessibility feature which, while not perfect, should hopefully be more usable than it was before. Base Engine Update2026-02-04It's moving, it's shaking! We are pushing forward with updating the version of the game engine that Long Live The Queen runs on in order to improve compatibility with modern machines. We're also implementing cloud save and a few other Steam-based features. Base Engine Update - Take Two!2025-12-25Currently live on the beta branch is an update which moves the RenPy version forward quite a bit to help the game run on more recent computers as well as adding some potential cloud save support. If you have some free time, we would LOVE to have you switch over to the beta branch to play a bit and report any problems you encounter (Or things that work better!) Base Engine Update + Sequel News2025-06-04Currently live on the beta branch is an update that will help synchronise the different engine versions that are being used for different operating systems. This is an update primarily affecting WINDOWS USERS (as Mac/Linux users were already on this engine version). Ideally there should be very few visible changes, only some tiny bugfixes and an added word in one dialog line that was missing by accident. Adjusting Achievement Syncing2025-05-05We've put out a small update that almost no one should notice. Basically, one achievement (Unexpected Pairing - the commoner romance) was not syncing correctly between the steam account and the local copy, so if you'd unlocked it on Steam and then played the game on another computer, your in-game copy wouldn't show that achievement until you unlocked it on THAT machine. This has now been corrected to work like the other achievements do. Nothing else should be affected, but if you encounter any strange behavior please do let us know.
