| Town of Salem 2: Backend Update Notice from Executive Producer | 2026-02-05 | Howdy Townies, Wanted to give you all a quick update on our status as well as highlight some of the new things that you’ll start seeing.The backend update itself was a bit rocky upon going live with server crashes & newly introduced issues/bugs, however we think we’ve got most of those issues sorted at this point with a few issues remaining (related to the Cauldron, cosmetics, F2P keys & a few others). The initial crashes were a combination of how the new backend was interacting with our servers + game code (some being unnecessary legacy code) as well as some oversights on our part.
