Anti-Cheat Team - 04/24/20262026-04-24As we move into the midway point of split 2 for Season 28, we wanted to share some ban numbers and an update on the infection rate of Apex.Since our last post on April 2nd, across all platforms, we have banned a total of 28,267 accounts for various cheating infractions. One highlight from these two weeks of numbers is nearly 1000 bans for DMA card use. RP Removed for S28: 6,655,192 Split 1: 4,413,776 Split 2: 2,241,416 Another highlight and major milestone for the Anti Cheat team is that we have reached the lowest infection rate for Apex since we started tracking infection rate statistics. Apex Legends: Latest Update 4/16/20262026-04-16INVESTIGATING:We are looking into an uptick of matches moving sluggishly (slomo servers). Our team's investigation has already revealed that players likely started seeing an increased rate of slomo servers on April 10th. Apex Legends: Latest Update 4/16/20262026-04-16Hey all, we just pushed a couple of quick bug fixes FIXED:The 28.1 Battlepass Badge now continues beyond level 60, as intended.Zero Strike skydive emote image now displays correctly.\We've had to revert these fixes as there are still issues with badge progression.We'll come back with another solution later on, and share more info when we have it.

Recent Server Issues2026-04-07We know our community experienced some server issues last week. Thank you to everyone who took the time to send in reports to us. Apex Legends: Latest Update 04/03/20262026-04-04We are temporarily removing Storm Point from map rotation on all modes and will be replacing it with E-District (daytime) while we continue to chase a permanent fix for a crash occurring on specific devices when Storm Point is active. We will provide more updates on this matter once we have them. In addition, April Fools LTM is now reactivated today until Mon the 6th at 12pm PT for those that missed their first chance to play. An Update from the Anti-Cheat Team - 04/02/20262026-04-02As we start the second split of Season 28, we wanted to share some ban numbers from this season so far! Across all platforms we banned a total of 73,591 accounts for various cheating infractions. We can break that down by platform: PC - 70,242 Console - 3,349 Targeted 3rd Party Hardware bans: XIM/Titan - 2,911 HWID Spoofer - 4,405 DMA - 1,103 Other Cheating Hardware/Cheat detections - 37,051 Note: The above hardware numbers do not add to the total bans as there are bans for other infractions such as bot accounts.We have more updates, enhancements and detections currently being worked on, and we are excited to be able to share even more soon!
